First Largemouth Bass of 2016

Post by Elijah.Loves.Fishin » Mon Feb 22, 2016 12:05 pm

We had a warm week Sun - Wed but then a cold front blew through with night time lows near 30 on Thr - Fri. The bite was tough but Josh and I managed 1 fish each. We both got bit on a jig but missed the fish because they were just picking it up by the trailer and swimming off with it. When we set the hook and reeled it back in, a claw or two was missing from our trailers. Josh missed a few bites on a drop shot. I then missed a bite on a ned rig but hooked up the very next cast. Last in a different part of the lake Josh caught his on a drop shot.
