Here is one from early this year. Got it at a very small N. Idaho lake 8.4 lbs on a 6" Green Shad Sink-N-Fool. Gotta love it when you catch a toad like this on your own baits. This was my 2nd biggest fish ever!

Never thought that my first 6+ lber for the year would be a smallmouth but it is! Here's a 6 lb 4.5 oz Smallmouth! Also a 5 lb 7 oz Smallmouth caught 3 days later!

Got this 9lber on Sunday. By far my biggest bass yet! Caught it on a jig my buddy tied up.

I don't post on this thread very often. I guess that's because I catch a lot of 5lb largies and don't get over 6 too often. This one became my new personal best last weekend beating the old mark by 3ozs. She tipped the scales at 6lb 12ozs and measured 21". She was a pretty good fighter. Like I have said before. If my pike fishing is going to get interrupted by a bass. It might as well be a good one like this. I sure would like to meet up with her in the spring when she's full of eggs.

Nice fish AJD! My bass fishing days are about over but I have lots of good memories. My personal best was an 8-4 caught from a lake down along the Columbia River.

Very nice fish! Caught in September that huge gut must mean she just had a very large lunch.
