Question about Plastic Baits
I just got these free plastic baits from Berkely. One of them is called a Power Bulky Hawg, I was just wondering how you would rig this jig and what fish does it catch (including saltwater species)?

Bass is what that catches. I guess you could catch small bullhead on it, but other then that, nothings really gonna hit that in the salt...
Fish that t-rigged or on a jighead for some nice smallies or largies!

Doloff is supposed to be nice, not sure if it is year round though. You might try Fenwick in Kent also!

It is open year round. However, without a boat, the only place you'll fish is a section to the left and the boat launch. I know there are big bass in there. I just wish I had a boat.2000subaru wrote:Doloff is supposed to be nice, not sure if it is year round though. You might try Fenwick in Kent also!
Many of the Fed Way lakes are closed for the season. Other than doloff, I think 5 mile is the only other lake still open and that too, without a boat isn't worth the effort.

Star Lake, Killarney and Trout lake are all open in addition to Five mile and Dolof but you need a boat to successfully fish any of them.islandbass wrote:It is open year round. RE:Question about Plastic Baits
If the texas rig, jighead, or carolina rig doesn't work cut the bait down shorter and rig it on a jig as a trailer.
