He seems to know his stuff too quickly lol. Pulls it out of the water, two seconds later "Thats about a 17 pound bass". It takes me maybe fifteen seconds to judge the difference between four and six pounds.

Well maybe the guy just knows his bass. I have plenty of friends that can tell you exactly how much a steelhead or salmon weighs right down to the decimal place. Its not impossible that he knows what he's doing. My guess is that he is used to catching 10lbers and bigger that is why he made his prediction so fast.

i think what annoys people about you dude is you say so many things that are obviously not based on either fact or experience. obviously you don't have "plenty" of friends that can look at a fish and tell you it weighs 14.69 pounds and be dead on. i would venture to say you don't know a single person that can do that, because its just plain impossible. if you would have just left that one sentence out of your post it would have been perfectly fine.
most people visit this site for helpful, factual information from people who live where they live and fish where they fish. i understand that you want to post and be as helpful to everyone as you can be, but trust me, posts like that are just digging you deeper in the hole. just refrain from posting on subjects you don't know much about and saying things that obviously aren't true, and you'll be just fine around here.
by the way that is a sick bass. i'm curious as to what pound test that guy was using to horse that fish in like that.

You know your a big bass fisherman when you're lifting 8 and 9 pound bass into the boat with your pole. anything over 5 pounds and i'm pretty much breaking out the scuba gear to make sure that thing gets in the boat.
