Never fished it, but a buddy did a couple of years ago in his float tube. Hammered them at Steamboat in some cove on Senkos around downed trees

Basically these lake systems are about the closest you'll find in Washington to what you see on the Bass Masters/FLW type shows you see on TV. Just about all the techniques you see the pro's use will be productive on these systems, just remember to downsize your bait/lure size a step or 2 due to the generally smaller fish we have compared to the much longer growing cycle the southern type lakes experience. Carolin rigged plastics, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and drop shotting are all ways to readily put fish in the boat.

In Potholes, the rip rap along the dam is usually a good place to try. Any of the smaller canals, beaver huts, and Goose Island (Rock outcroppings near mardon and the dam), are all places to try plastics and shoot a jig and pig. Go back in the Lind Coulee and work drops and ledges. All hold fish, but might take some work in the summer heat.

Go to the steepest banks, cast a 1/2 oz jig up to the bank, drag it out to deep water, you'll feel the ledges sooner or later. Or a Carolina rig with 1/2 oz bullet weight, or dropshot with 1/4 oz, 3/8 oz, 1/2 oz. Quickdrop weight.
