Lake Tye bass

Post by Clear-Waters » Fri Apr 20, 2012 3:52 pm

I noticed some reports from October of people catching bass, I have only caught one bass out of lake Tye by accident I just want to know if any one targets bass on this lake because I live in town and would love to have a super close bass lake

i fish the senko weightless on a ewg hook, 5" senko, and the 5" hula grub on a 3/8 oz football head , both of those i cast out from shore towards the center of the lake and slowly work my way back in, and the crankbaits i cast parallel to the shore

I fish here year round and although it is known for primarily being a trout lake I only fish it or bass. The biggest I have caught out of here is 3 pounds. The spawn this year was massive so I think that in a few years we can expect a very productive bass lake.
