When do WA bass phases occur?

Post by fongster » Fri Sep 02, 2011 5:46 am

Hi guys, I just visited your fine state and was wondering when does your spawn occur? I fished on the San Juan Islands. I couldn't tell from the fish if they were post spawn or not--gosh it's Sept now (the ones I caught were LMBs). I saw no evidence of used beds anywhere. Thanks.

Typically the big push is in May in the Seattle area. They can start late April and end to mid June, all depends on water temp for the major push.
