Where are some great lakes to catch bass?

The only lakes that I have fished for bass is in Pine Lake, Lake Sammamish, and Lake Washingtion. If anyone knows any other great lakes to fish for bass, can you post a reply? Or tell me if the lakes that I am fishing at are good lakes for bass.
(Mabey I am just using the wrong bait/lure for bass fishing)

there are a lot of smallies in lake sammy & wash. i hit a pretty good crankin bite on lk. wash today, nothing over 3lbs but it was fun. i would have stayed longer but it was hindy as heck!

Just about any lake in the state holds bass. Those ones you fish are good too just keep at it. Look for more lakes around you area on google maps. Then read the reports here on WL.com

Have you tried Beaver Lake ? that place is loaded with bass

potholes is the "only" great bass lake. the ones mentioned are good fishery's, but for "lunkers" and probably the home of the next state record is potholes, below moses lake. you can check
www.mardonresort.com, the weekly report for pics of some of the lunker bass (smallies, and, largemouth). banks is another "lunker" lake.

I suggest you do a little searching on this website instead of asking for help. Go to the home page, scroll down and select King County. There is a long list of King County lakes and fishing reports. If you read a few you will find some good lakes. Just to make it easy for you: Alice, Pine, Beaver, Joy, Cottage, etc. etc.

I think the next state record will be caught on the west side of the mountains. I know that potholes is a great fishery and consistantly produces large fish. However the fishing pressure is enormous on those lakes and most of the lunkers have seen everything that you are throwing at them. Thats including swimbaits. Now more than ever bass fishing is taking tha mainstage in Washington and very soon you will see the record broken.

Definitely try Beaver since you're up here in Sammamish. Try around and between the docks on the park side around dusk.

I just fished Silver Lake for the first time and I think it is equal to the Potholes. I have fished the Seep lakes for 5 years and I think Walleye is becoming a bigger industry than bass and more peole are fishing for walleye. IMHO

Lake Union. This season was my first season I decided to target small mouth bass. I got hooked on them and neglected LMB fishing for quite some time.
Despite living next to many south King lakes, after discovering the joys of small mouth fishing, I have spent the gas to drive 25 miles from home to downtown Seattle just to fish for them because I'd rather go that far knowing my chances of catching were greater than settling for less chance and being closer to home.
The cool thing about Lake Union is that there are many spots to fish from the shore and even the canal itself is a viable option. I don't want to jinks myself so I won't, but going home skunked at Lake Union is hard to do. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to knock on some wood.

A lot of good suggestions here bassmatt...
Only places I would add might be Lake Goodwin (I've never fished it for bass but I've read that it has a good smallmouth population) and the columbia river reservoirs (Bonneville dam back to McNary). Lots and lots of big bass in this water that never see a hook from one year to the next.

Mind givine me directions to one of your spots? I do not know the Lake Union area at all.
