Would you like your picture in a soon to be published Bass Book?
Oregon writer Pete Heley has contacted me with a request for bass photos from our WL.com members to be included in a book he is doing on bass fishing in Washington.
The pictures need to be a print quality resolution, i.e., not "saved for the web". Color is fine. The picture should include angler and fish, and also include a caption with name, location, fishing technique used.
You can send them to me at mike@washingtonlakes.com and I will forward them, or directly to Pete at:
peteheley@charter.net
This is a cool opportunity to get yourself in a local bass book! There is no compensation for the photo and you release the rights to allow publication.

How precise do you need to be for "location"? Western Washington ok? County? Actual Lake name?

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Thanks kzoo
I have a ton of pics Mike. The only thing is having to give up a lake name.

I wouldn't give up the name of that lake either. So pick another lake. :-) Didn't you 2 catch a good big fish on Sammamish?fishingmachine wrote:Thanks kzoo

I really wouldn't give it much worry - it's going in a bass book, not like it's a big secret there are bass in these lakes. If it concerns you just send him pics from the larger, more well-known lakes.fishingmachine wrote:Thanks kzoo

I like the largie picture on the bottom, Austin. That's my fave. Good lighting, colors, etc.
Your friend looks like he wants to kill someone in the Sammamish picture.

Sounds like a blast! I think the bass I caught on a crank in May/June is book worthy.

I'm thinking it would be way cool to have several WL.com members immortalized in a bass book.islandbass wrote:Sounds like a blast! I think the bass I caught on a crank in May/June is book worthy.

Let's not forget the guys of the east side of the state also. Here is one from Silver Lake near Spokane. Mike, I emailed you the original with the photo/angler information.
