Riffe Lake Bass Pointers ASAP please!
OK, so I'm taking my son tomorrow for an overnighter on Riffe lake and hope to get him into some smallies. Besides reviewing previous reports, any suggestions from the bass anglers out there on best ways of targeting these fish? Unfortunately I will be fishing out of a seaswirl so no electric trolling motor. I was thinking of lining up in casting range along some gravelly shoreline and having James toss crankbaits while we drift. What do you think?
RE:Riffe Lake Bass Pointers ASAP please!
i'd try fishing gravel flats/points in 6'-15' of water first with hula grubs and tubes (cranks would probably work, i'd use craw colors), then if this depth doesn't work try out a little deeper in 20'-30' with a dropshot.
that's what worked for me.
