Back by unpopular demand
A salute to the little bass that we all have been known to catch but would rather not mention it.
All in good fun, post some pics

This little bass almost became a meal to a much larger lmb that was in pursuit.

My son got a little tough fighting bugger.

I like to call rock bass a bass. They put up a pretty fun fight for a panfish. Caught this big one at lake steilacoom.

I love each bass I catch. Lately, I've caught a lot more baby bass and dinks than I prefer to... really just want to race them back into the water to go live and eat and grow big.

Still, each one earns a place in my memory. Even though the fight is but a brief moment, I feel like we just got acquainted. I like to think some day that dink I just tossed back will be an elusive hawg a decade from now... and just maybe we'll cross paths and throw down again. :bounce:

I haven't taken a picture of a dink this year. But I have a great one from last year I posted. I'll keep my eye open for a dink, if I catch one. :-"

This was early last year when I was just starting bass fishing. I think i had just watch a show and they talked about supporting the belly when holding the fish horizontal so that you do not break the jaw. I don't think they were talking about big fish like these.

Another rock bass, this one from Green Lake, a couple of days ago. Got some AMAZING fillets off of this monster fish.

Image Image Nope, that's the way it came out of the water. As soon as I touched the fish, it flopped and the senko flew out.

If you look at the picture close enough, you'll note the picture is acually upside down. I figured if I tried to turn the fish 'right side up' to where I was, then maybe the fish would throw the senko, so I took the picture first, then tried to turn the fish around. It flopped and out came the senko.
