Im not afraid of tring new things ! It does matter if a lure has giving me a personal best , i will switch up in a heartbeat !! haha .. I think im gonna have to pick up a couple of River2sea and give it a go in the summer !! :salut:

I must say that River 2 Sea is starting to become one of my favorite major bait companys ! yeah I said it , take that Luckycraft !!! haha .. just kidding , LC still sets the bar but they dont make FROGS !! ribbitt !!
I would hate to see the price point if LC did start making frogs! :shaking:

I am by no means an authority of trowing a frog. I tried both the Spro and BullyWA last year and the BullyWA out lasted the Spro. By the second week of use (4-5 outings) the plastic on the Spro had been cut by the hook. This allowed the frog to take on water and sink. I didn't catch fish on either one, but I attribute that to operator error not the product.

Dez, I agree with the last few posts. I guarantee Dean Rojas does not use the SPRO's straight outta the package, I'd imagine he does alot of customizing to get them right. Some of the reasons I like the R2Sea over the Spro are: The R2Sea flat out walks easier, I think they are more durable. I had a brand new R2Sea get turned inside out practially by a 3 lber and after I fixed the bait, it still walked just fine and didn't tear. The Spro will fill up with water every 2 casts. I've had some of the paint/coating come off on my spro, never a issue with the R2Sea. I like the diff sizes the R2Sea comes in, but now spro has the larger size so thats comparable. Oh ya, I have read very long posts on other boards about Spro's hookup ratio also.

I started using Snagproof last year and they walk very well too. I like the fact they have a little rattle noise to them. I have not had a problem with them tearing Skimpy, but I will keep an eye on that. I have a few of the ISH frogs, and they look good.

Nik, maybe I'll have to try the swamp donkeys... I have enough of the other 3 brands, might as well add a few more frogs to the collection #-o

I'm Spro all the way, but have heard nothing but great things about the Bully WA Frog. As far as hookup ratio goes, I have had a pretty high success rate once I switched to a true Frog rod and 65 lb test powerpro. I won't throw them on anything else.

as for colors, here are a few of my favs..
White/Black
Rainforest Yellow - Like Throwing Big Bird out there! :)
Rainforest Black
Midnight Walker
Natural Red -> my personal fav.

Don't be afraid to throw a gaudy lookin' bait like the Yellow!
