I also have good success with a crankbait 7-10ft diver in either trout or craw pattern.

Oh no you didn't. You done let the cat out of the bag. :)

The DS and Cranks are my strengths. We'd fish pretty good together.

FishinPro,

What part of the Columbia are you fishing and do you stay on the WA side? My brother lives not too far from the 205 bridge in OR and I want to know if that section of the river at 205 is smallie worthy.
Hey, I fish on the WA side in Camas. If you have any clue where 164th is, I fish in an area really close to an IHOP. If your heading South on 164th, and you pass IHOP, you will have 3 decisions afterwards. Go Right onto the on ramp and get onto Highway 14, Go left and get onto the on ramp of Highway 14, or go straight and head down towards the water. I go straight and cross the railroad tracks and park right by some deadend. At the deadend there is a sign that says, and I quote "Welcome To Your Park." There isnt a lot of land to fish w/o trespassing, but I have been doing fine so far. Not very many ppl fish my spot. Feel welcome to try it if you like.
If in doubt set the hook!

The last few years I have been doing pretty well with the Sweet Beavers from inovation lures.
I also have been successful with the Storm Wild eye swim baits in the Perch pattern.
My go to bait for Smallmouth is the curly tail.
