As far as sents go anything that is oil based is a waste of money. The bass cannot retain a oil based product in their smell receptors it passes right through anything that is water based will be retained in the smell receptors. i use smelly jelly crawfish . just remember to aply it very often

You are right. They are incapable of tasting oils and can only tasting items that are water soluble. Some folks are probably going to call us liars. :^o

They can refer to the book titled, 'Knowing Bass."
