Yakima River Smallmouths

Post by Mr. Magler » Wed Jul 11, 2007 1:31 pm

Anyone ever fished the Yakima River below Roza Dam for smallmouths? Selective gear rules apply, but I've heard there are a lot of smallies in there. Any pointers on legal lures to use there would be great! (I will be C&R-ing all fish, of course)

are you talking about right below the dam or further down. I've fished the Richland portion of the Yakima.

I was thinking right below the dam, but I'd be willing to drive further south to get to some better action if I needed to......

P.S. Sweet Avatar, dbaker! GO COUGS!
