bass in clark?

Well I am 15.. and been fishing ever since i was well about 5 lol.. i love the sport to death.. and always been catching trout.. ect.. my grandma is a big bass fan and i really want to catch one.. i never have in my life. when i try and catch one i just cant.. either im in the wrong spot.. or at wrong time.. or just plain stupid. i know they are smart.. but does anyone know where some good bass fishing is in Clark County? and what i should use and where to fish in the lake? boat is availble

I'd say take a peek at the Reports section of the website to get a general idea of when and where people are picking them up.

By far, Lacamas is the lake with the best bass fishery in Clark County. Though the sloughs around Ridgefield are pretty good, too.

the bass fishing has been slow at best and will hopefully pick up as the water warms up a bit more.

If you are just targeting bass and dont care about size, I would recommend using a small to medium sized Rapala Floater. I prefer Silver myself, but other colors work as well. Test out your own methods in different places. Lacamas is a hard lake to fish sometimes. I have gone days without a single bass, but if u stay persistant you should start catching some. I fish off the bank for now, and i have moderate success as far as bass fishing goes. If you have anymore questions, just pm me, Ill be happy to help.

Fish around any logs or brush,and pads. Work your "WEED LESS" baits slow if you have no strikes work it faster. I like large worms Texas rig with light weight,or a jig with a matching split tail grub. Get some fishing sun glasses so you can see what your casting it to. Small spinner baits work very well.
