Eloika Lake weeds?

Post by Lotech Joe » Mon Jun 23, 2008 5:33 am

Does anyone know if Eloika is choked out with weeds yet? I haven't been able to get there yet this year, and I'm kind of planning a visit next weekend.
Thanks,

Where you go is less important than how you get there.

Joe, I havent been up there yet, but expect the weeds to be about 2-3 weeks behind normal.

Two to three weeks behind schedule would be good. That's what I'm hoping for.

Joe, I did not fish it but I stopped buy on 6/23/08. The dollar pads are up and starting to thicken up, but the other weeds are delayed, somewhat.

The launch at Jerry's Landing is just now starting to rake out Millfoil at their docks, and last year this started about the first of June.
Too much water, so many fish, too little time.

I know of a few lakes around here that still don't have their normal weeds up yet so they are definately delayed quite a bit
