Caught and released nice Largemouth estimated around 4.5 lbs or so, we had no scale!. I took him at Mardons docks at Potholes last week around 8PM on a lipless Rapala shad. Ten minutes later took another largemouth about 3+ lbs. Pulled them both out of the rocks just before dark.

My Buddy Iasiah is holding him while I snpped a cell-phone shot of him!

Sorry guys having trouble uploading photo! Will try again later.

Caught 5 smallies a couple of weeks ago on a short outing but this is the best pic of the biggest fish landed, had a better one to the boat but the fish threw the hook as I was about to lip it. Not a monster but it was one of the nicest lookin smallies that I have ever caught because the lateral bands were so vivid, even though the pic doesn't do it justice.

Here is my biggest Smallmouth to date. I caught it on a 5'' Senko-Pumpkin w/GRN Flakes in Yakima. Lost one even bigger than this the prior cast, it burned some drag and buried itself under a submerged tree. So I was thoroughly frustrated when I made the cast to catch this fish until I set the hook. It gave me the fight of my life, got it to shore and it ran again. I was very happy when I finally landed him. Took a single picture and released him to fight another day.

Here is a nice Largemouth caught the same day, about 10 mins later. He hammered the same Senko which was hanging on by a thread before he hit and was lost during the fight. He was photographed and released.

Thats funny Jake, and scary. Grandma's on the water:silent:

Here's my fish from this evening. Don't usually brag about a 3.0 lber, but this was pretty special. TOPWATER Frog !! They are starting to eat up. Theres no doubt that some fish are still spawning, had one spawning LM swipe at a swimbait saturday and missed it, but this fish was looking for a meal. Fish hit a River2Sea Frog. Once you fish the frogs a little, you can get them to walk pretty nicely, its still a chore though. Here's the pic. 80 degree water, Trout lake. :salut: Only real good bite of the evening. C&R always.
