my personal favorite is topwater for early morning action. i like a 4 in rapala floating minnow. silver is best for me. next is just senko worms in watermelon and maybe a curly tail worm 4 in for the afternoon to nites.

I would have to say that my go to bait when fishing is tough is a texas rigged 3/16 oz weight with a green pumpkin Zoom finesse worm dipped in chartreuse spike-it. I can usually catch a small limit with it with an occasional kicker or two.

My favorites are the Strike King 3X pearl white 4'' curltail grubs on a jig head, skirted jigs of various sizes with curltail grub trailer, and storm wild eye shad of various sizes and colors.
