senko vs swimming senko?
I've caught a lot of bass on senkos, but have not tried the swimming senko. Do you guys like them?
Cabela's has a good deal right now on the swimming senko kit. (They cost 50 cents each in the kit instead of 70 cents in the 10 pack, plus you get the cool box. :thumright )

I'm not to fond of them. Just being on the Cabela's Bargain Cave page might tell you something about their popularity. I picked up a couple packs awhile ago and only used one. Not a very productive bait for me, but I haven't spent enough time using them to know any different. I like the good 'ole fat senko or tiki stick. If you'd like to test drive them send me a PM and I'll mail you a couple. I have a bunch in the color 323 which is like a watermelon green with black and gold flakes. Let me know. This will save you a couple of bones trying them out and I don't mind sending them to you.

Usaully anything that comes in a kit like that are not really that great anyways.Mike iconelli did a read on senko swim's in the bassmaster catalog a few months back pretty muck line size and how slow you real them in so you actually feel the thump thump that you get, i have used them but not enough for any great success as far as size.just casting past pad fields and reeling back through them is what worked for me,still think that the O.G> senko is far better just my opinion C-N-R
RE:senko vs swimming senko?
personally i dont have experience with those or cabela brands.
:king:
though what i hear about bulk packages is that they sell you stuff that you dont really need to buy. honestly i dont think you need all those colors, you can probably get away with 2 colors. i know of alot of ppl who use just 1 color. it may look like you are getting a bargain, but are you really going to use all of those colors? in most cases people only end up using a few colors, and the rest becomse dead weight.

I do fine with senkos, but don't see a need for the swimming variety. If it's more action that you seek, there are other great baits out there that will do a great job.

Taken from bassmaster website....
