Fishing ! Can't get enough ! Dez, when you make it big save me a back seat. Would love to be in a turny with ya. Your swim baits and my beef jigs, could make for some big weight in the live wells at weigh in. lol..

Goals for 2011? Where do I start! Fish fish and fish some more! jk.
- Catch a bass on the C-rig
- Become more confident with the dropshot
- Try out and catch fish with a swimbait
- Get my girlfriend out on the Allison and onto some bass!
- I have to make up for my poor performance at the Mickleson open (didn't catch a single bass). I wanna get the Ally out in another tourney and actually put some fish in the livewell!

I could go on and on but I'll leave it at that for now. Good luck to all in 2011! Let haul some bass and burn some gas!

for this new year my goals are

1 spend more time on the water (banks of the waters) and do more fishing

2 read more on different techniques on bass fishing

3 understand and learn how to read the waters better

4 and just have fun with the kids

no boat and only Bass I ever caught was Stripped bass in Lake mead in Nevada other than that never really bass fished seems alot of lakes here hold them so I wanted to broaden my fishing practices and learn Bass so when I visit home I can show my brother in laws how it is done. no boat yet so searching for the sidelines on good places to fish. different waters and different methods is the goal I set for myself to learn both and catch something while learning.

I have an ever growing list of items to complete this year, but I really only have one goal. This past season has been SO GOOD, and I really just want to see that continue. I feel like I've entered this phase where everything I do and everything I try just leaves me so pleasantly surprised. So for 2011, I just want to see it continue where my biggest priority is to just keep learning, be dedicated to that goal, and to be a good student and do all I can to be a good fishing partner.

I have a long list of to-do's for getting ready for what hopefully promises to be another long season of first's and never-would-have-imagined's. But if I only accomplish one thing this year, I want to keep learning all I can.

Dez,
My goal for 2011 was to come up with some new colors of Panic Minnows.....some more local colors that match the forage we have around here. Way till you see them! Kokanee, Smelt, and Stickleback!
There should be some at the sportsmans show during Marc and Rons presentations. Will let you in on them when they are available.

From club tournaments to Qualifiers to Divisionals, and all the opens, every body of water is going to require my top game. Mental game as well. Between about 15 tourneys and pre-fishing this year to me is all about being on the water more than ever before. Can't wait. Dez, Good Luck at the Nationals. If you need to borrow some Panic Minnows, let me know [thumbup]

For those of you that didnt get the hear about some of the details of the divionals in MT earlier this season allow me to explain his comment about pannic minnow .

Larry aka Basser90 and i were standing outside of our hotel after day 2 of competition and i was complaining to him that i only had 1or2 pinnic minnows left in my box ](*,) .Let me point out that "all" of my fish came on these baits , so if you can imagine the disappointment i felt knowing that i was only 2 baits away from my dreams being over was a tuff pill to swallow .
The next morning arrives and im in my room getting ready for the final day of competition when all of sudden there went a knock at our door . I opened the door and saw that it was larry , after our usual good morning and good luck speech , larry did the coolest thing ever . He reached in his bag and handed me 4or5 pannic minnows in the exact color i was using [woot] . Larry look me dead in the eye and says "Dez, get in done today you have a shot at advancing to nationals"...needless to say i went to on to making the final cut that day and i owe larry "bigtime" for being a good sport and sharing is his baits with me , had that not taking place i know for a fact that i would not have been able to exucute like i did that day . THANK YOU Larry , you rock bro !! =d&gt]

Man brian i will tell you this.
I cant wait to try out the kokanee color your coming out with.
Im sure im not the only one that thinks a rainbow trout color would be a great match the hatch too.
Ive done some serious damage with the panic minnows already.
Thanks for creating such a great dropshot bait

Yup, and I use the Rainbow pattern crankbaits and Panic minnows, they both work great.

Last year I got my p.b. smallie (out of American lake!), so goal #1 will be to top that this year.
It's been a few years since I've landed a really nice lmb, and since I will be taking a trip to Texas this year, and fishing Choke Canyon, goal #2 will be to get a double digit lmb.
Goal #3 is to land some fish on some of the lures I've been making over the winter.
Goal #4 is to fish at least one tournament.
Goal #5 is to get out onto some lakes I haven't fished yet. Last year was so good on American lake that I didnt do too many trips.
Goal #6: LEARN SOMETHING EVERY TIME I GO OUT!
Hope to see y'all at the sportsmans show, and out on the water!

My goal is to get a double digit ditch pickle on a fly rod. Had one shot last year, and the pig wrapped me around a log as soon as i set the hook.
Fishing relaxes me. It's like yoga, except i still get to kill something.

Haven`t been on in awhile with work in all. This year I gotta give the drop shot a chance. Just hard for me to adjust to the speed. After watching Austin and Tom slay me this summer in the derbys. Second when I say I`m gonna fish a certain bait, lure and pattern I have to leave everything else at home. I always give up to soon and lean on my crutch which is hard baits. Last but not least I`m gonna fish a few tournys here in the NW.

Yeah that bait in your avatar is the same one you used to hand me my lunch on my bday on Sammy last year too! Don't recall you being too quick to share though...hmmm. :) Course I've got 10 packs of them now! Awesome bait, can't wait to see the new colors Brian!

I've held that dream before. It wasnt for bass, but before I die,
one of my dreams is to hold a state record, or a world record.
