Riffe Lake

Post by f1sh1nf00l » Mon Jun 21, 2010 8:23 pm

Was looking through this years reports from Riffe and only found one bass report. I was wondering if anyone out there has been fishin the smallies on Riffe this year? We are headed over this coming weekend for our yearly trek to Riffe, and would love to hear from you bassers that have fished Riffe this year. I would imagine that it would be spawn, or even pre spawn with the weather that we've been having this year. But I really have never had the chance to figure Riffe out.
Thanks.

Hey FF...as I rolled into Kosmos last Sunday, much to my surprise, there was a Tournament in progress. I did not actually see any of the fish outside of their bags, but there were obviously some nice fish in them!

A little late now, sorry. The lake has been coming up VERY fast for the last few weeks and the fish are all over the map. They have been mostly in 8-16 ft. and on rocks. We had a tourny in late April and it took just under 20 lbs to win! The pigs are there they are just spooky with water rising so fast. Once it hits full pool for a couple of weeks it should be great again. Hope your trip was good.
