Call North 40, in Omak, speak with the fishing Dept. Tyler Hicks will be able to tell you about Omak’s Conditions, probably anyone in the fishing Dept can.

Re: Limit vs area

Quick question. If I fish in an area where one fish is allowed, am I able to boat over to another area where two fish are allowed and catch an additional fish? Can I ask what lake etc. this is in? I’m just curious, as I’m not really familiar with a lake that has one regulation on limits in one area...

Re: Lake Washington Boat Launch in Kenmore

You are not crazy.. it is quite shallow going out of the slough. Unless you are in some crazy large boat, you should be just fine though. Just use your sonar to stay as deep as possible. You should be able to keep it above 2’ , and very soon it opens up. FYI.. depending on your fishing destination e...

Annual Sturgeon Kayak fishing event, Willamette River, this weekend.

I just got back from a sort of Kayak flash mob Sturgeon fishing event on the Willamette River, in Portland. Just had to say this is one super fun thing to get into, and I only caught one sturgeon actually. But many people caught MULTIPLE. I got such a crack-up out of this one Australian guy.. I was ...

Re: Rats taking residence within vehicle engine compartment??

Second on the dryer sheets rodents dont like the smell I stuff them all over my camper and boat and show cars in the winter in my shop. I used to keep a cover on my Chevelle in the shop during winter. The dark secluded area was perfect for them (mice not rats but all the same really) they cost me a...

Re: Member Map??

Just my .02 but it would be just as easy to post a thread saying I'm fishing in whatever area and ask that way.. Personally I rarely respond to random PM's that doesn't relate to a posted topic on the forums. The only thing that making a thread asking about an area is that this does not mean that t...

Re: Rats taking residence within vehicle engine compartment??

Yeah, I know people will say leave the hood up, but not in Seattle. It would be a total invite for the truck to be messed with. Again, nice neighborhood etc. but we have security cameras everywhere. I don’t leave a soda can in the yard. Last year our entire street (about 1 mile). Had ALL the mailbox...

Rats taking residence within vehicle engine compartment??

Alright, let’s wake up the sleepy people who are dormant in the winter, on the forum. So, does anyone have any experience with rats taking up residence, hanging out, under the hood of your vehicle? That being said, one might think I’m a pig, or have an unkept yard, etc. No..no... not the case. Plent...

Thanks guys! I’ll take a look @ the Cabelas ones that were linked above. As far as wool in general.. I’m all about wool everything. I love wool. I was mostly curious if anyone likes the fingerless gloves, that also have the mitten flap. And I agree with what someone said about some really great glov...

Winter glove recommendations??

On the slim hope that anybody responds anymore to the forum here, I am reaching out to ask you guys... Does anyone have a winter glove that you really like and recommend for when actually fishing? I am fishing mostly via a Kayak, but float tube, boat,.. all the above. I was looking at a pair of Simm...

This is the one that I am familiar with. It is a lot more expense and add-ons to your vehicle, at least more than I would want to do.

but you can go up to a 16’ boat.

Thank you for the well written and informative breakdown of the Pike history. Again, I do not live over there or fish those waters, so thank you for some of discussion on location distances from point to point, and pathways of Pike travel. I live with a similar frustration in my fishing world. My fa...
