Angle Lake
FYI- Angle Lake Park has restrictions currently in force. Construction on improvements have been started and only the boat launch may be used. The end date of construction is some time in May, so those of us who require use of the dock for fishing access are out of luck.

RE:Salmon/Steelhead Spinning Outfit Advise
I have a Bass Pro Shop's "Cat Buster" with matching spinning reel. Reel is spooled with 15# and rod is 8' medium heavy. Plenty strong enough for steelhead or salmon.

RE:Good highland lake to fish that's an easy drive/hike?
Fairly easy drive up Hwy 2 over Stevens Pass, then left to Fish Lake a few miles NE of Lake Wenatchee. No hiking required and fishing is usually good at this time of the year.

RE:Help Build The Lake Index Photo Library
WDFW lists Langendorfer Lake (Stossel Lake) in their fishing prospects site. I don't see either lake listed in Washington Lakes. Has anyone ever fished this lake and if so can furnish proper directions for access? "this and one or two adjacent ponds lie in the headwaters of Stossel Creek, about six ...

RE:Curious about the trout lakes
Got onto Google and looked around. I found what looks to be a very good spiny ray lake called Arrow. It is located just south of Normandy Park near Mar Vista Park. It appears to be perhaps a private lake; for homes surround the entire lakeshore. Do any of WL members have any knowledge of this lake? ...

RE:how much wind is too much for you?
Fish Lake (Wenatchee) in the early 90's.....my friend Jim and I in a 10' jon boat. We had no idea of what kind of waves could be generated from the wind coming over the pass on that lake. Fortunately, someone noticed our departure and felt we would be in danger. They came to our rescue just about th...

RE:brown trout
Not a report..just an answer. Fish Lake located on the SE corner of Lake Wenatchee is the only lake I have caught Brown trout. Fish average 12-14", but fish in the teens (weight-wise) have been caught. Fish streamer fly deep or countdown Rapala, and make it DEEP!

RE:Strangest Thing in a Fish's Stomach
:salut: Greeting fellow piscatorians! I am a newbie, but have followed Washington Lakes for many years. Hmmmmm....strangest fish stomach contents? I have one that has not showed up on the radar yet. Many years ago in the mid-70's I was working summers as a firefighter with California Division of Fo...
