Re: Lead core line recommendations?

My leadcore reels are Daiwa SG47LCs and they hold a full 100yds. Been using 'em since '07 or '08. Was surprised to see the AK charter operator we fished with the last two years using exact same reels. [wink]

Re: Lead core line recommendations?

I use 18# for trout/kokanee trolling in Roosevelt. Have the same lead core on my reels I started with but did remove and reinstall in reverse two years ago so I had the fresh unused line to the outside. When I get 8yrs out of that I might replace it. Not sure what brand it is but can attest to hundr...

Re: Any restooms at the mouth of the Spokane?

If you cant be cited, then why did these people get cited? http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2013/may/26/state-tribe-conflict-on-sanpoil-licensing/ The story was from 5 years ago. That's old news. [rolleyes] That story was from a time period when the tribe was trying to assert boundary rights to mid...

Re: Contacting other members

But if see a random user who has left a comment in a fishing report, there is no option to click on that person’s name. It’s not a clickable item. True, but since you know their username from their report comment you don't have to search through 70 pages to find their contact info. When you go to F...

Re: Any restooms at the mouth of the Spokane?

yeah ive been reading where people have been having some problems getting ticketed by rez enforcement when below the 1310' line in the Sanpoil River Arm, so I'd rather not temp fate. Cannot be cited by tribal enforcement below the 1310' line as it is federal land not reservation. If above the 1310'...

Re: Contacting other members

Yep, different issue. You'd have to use the member search function under the Forum tab to get contact info. Doing that will take you to the same info page when you click on a user's name in a forum post. [wink]

Re: Contacting other members

On the right side under your user info you'll see "Contact" and to the right there is small envelope icon, clicking will take you to an email option to the left of the envelope is another icon that opens the PM feature. Same thing if you click on user's name, a separate window opens and on the right...

Barbless hooks are not required anywhere, for any species, in Lake Roosevelt except sturgeon if and when WDFW announces an open fishery for them.

Re: Any restooms at the mouth of the Spokane?

It is all National Park below the 1310' line regardless of which side you're on. However, if you don't know exactly where the 1310' line is best practice is to consider the "North" shore tribal or reservation. I do.

Re: Rod and reel repair spokane. Business opportunity??

You want to work on my Shimano curado? I serviced my Daiwa SGs (4ea) a year or so ago and upgraded drag washers. Wasn't difficult at all. That said, I don't have a Curado and have never had one apart so would be uncomfortable using yours as a "test case". What specific model do you have and what's ...

That particular function has not yet been restored. If you can locate a report by any member/author you can click on their name to see all reports they've submitted.

Clicking any report author's name takes you to all their reports. I just checked and it works fine. What kind of search are you trying to do?

Re: Switch for parallel batteries

You just need a simple battery selector switch for marine application. Either the BEP or Blue Seas will work, I prefer Blue Sea Systems for marine electrical. What you want to do will require a 4 way switch, OFF, Bat 1, Bat 2, Bat 1&2. This would allow you to completely disconnect all electrical pow...

Re: Big fish program and certificates

Pretty sure that'd fall in the department's derby rules. By the way the law is writren you can't even bet a buck on big fish for the day with a couple buddies without a permit. Sure you can, just so long as there are no more than 5 licensed anglers involved. You and 4 buddies want to put $20 apiece...

Re: Roosevelt 'eyes

Great tip if you can find a place to launch! As of this morning, Spring Canyon would be the only potential place to launch and I wouldn't be surprised if it's already barricaded since reservoir level was 1223.1' at 7am and is projected to be 1221.96' by 5pm today.
