Have a spare spool from a reel that took a dump. If you have a use for it it's yours. Fits FJ only. Think fits 2500 and 3000 series.

Color won't matter. Siwash for the position of the eye in relation to the hook. Octopus will only work if you tie them on using a snell knot or similar shank knot otherwise they don't have the right leverage for a proper hookset. My brother-in-law tried that one Pink season. I replace the treble with a quality 1/0 siwash crimped to a barrel swivel. I use the rubber bumper or a soft bead to protect the knot. Have never had a problem hooking up. Make sure your hooks are sharp!

If you don't have Siwash, stick with the treble (only legal in Lake WA).
