RE:Our first time salmon fishing
I have fished the Carbon by it's mouth near the Puyallup River between Orting and Sumner. The last time the Pinks came through one wading in the river could feel them bump against your legs. It was awesome the amount of fish. Most all the people fishing used corkies or corkies and yarn. Of varying c...

River Fishing Salmon
I have been river fishing for salmon the last two years without great success. I had instruction from several of the fisherman on the river who have their theories. What color corkies (some even gave me theirs) stuff like that. One day when the pinks were coming in, 2 yrs. ago, I saw a lot of fish c...

RE:"Tiger Trout"
Sept. 25 2003, John E. Moore of Mount Vernon re-claimed his record for tiger trout, a brown trout-brook trout hybrid, with a 1.89-pound fish from an unnamed lake in Okanogan County. Moore caught the record fish on a spinner. He had previously held the record until July of this year, when Robert Matt...

RE:Nothing Like Losing A Bobber
At the beginning of the fishing season this year I saw a bobber floating in the middle of Lake Tanwax. As I went nearer to it, it kept going under the water each time I would start and stop the electric motor. When I captured it there was a crappie on the hook at the end. I let it go but kept the bo...

RE:How many Days Do You Fish
I have only been fishing maybe 20 times this year. I would have liked to go out more but something would come up so I couldn't.
So I have been blessed that I got out those 20 times since I work 6 days a week.

RE:Let us know what you think about the new site!
I took my time to comment until I got to know the new site and I feel it is much better than the old. I have found that I visit the site more. I call it arm chair fishing. I enjoy sharing fishing experiences and reading new thoughts and ideas. It is the best site I have found online so far!

RE:How do you keep your worm bait fresh?
I bought a styrofoam container about 3 years ago, dug a hole in my flower bed ( out of the sun and weather) that was big enough to almost bury it. Just left the top available to open easy. I buy the worm bedding that you just add water to and the worms thrive summer and winter. I use to keep them in...

RE:Lake Kapowsin
Even though Google says there is a Voss resort there is no information about it on the web that I could find. Nor was there any phone listing at Dexonline, the yellow pages, white pages, or the local listings for Eatonville. Giving Ericson's info put them on the Lake and maybe Ericson's knows about ...

What are the best lookin ones? When is one too far gone? I love smokin' them but haven't had the luck of catchin' many. Are the colors the same everywhere or just one river? I fish the Carbon sort of by where it goes into the Puyallup.

RE:Any Update on Cabelas???
Cabela's has started the hiring process so it maybe still be the Nov. opening date.
When building sometimes things do always go according to plan and dates change.
