Re: multiple burglaries, vandalism, theft on the green

I noticed the gravel lot across from the golf course/range has new signs up about no parking between certain hours(night), maybe they should get them down there too, I am sure it is Auburn that put them up. As you move into Kent you still see all the cars and campers. There is a place near the socce...

Re: multiple burglaries, vandalism, theft on the green

That sucks, I have heard the park n ride can be pretty bad down there, I live farther down river near the golf course, and as you go into kent there are several little homeless camps, but we have not heard of any issues related to them as of yet.

Re: GREEN RISING

I am heading out in the morning to check it out, have seen a few people fishing the last few days in the upper section that just opened. Driving by it is not terribly high and headed down now or at least it was last night.

Looks like they are releasing water ahead of the storms, Green river in Auburn has gone up almost 100CFS over night, with no rain falling.

Re: Snoho/Sky/Wallace Open for Coho!!!

I dont feel this site is the biggest contributor to the blow up of small streams. Youtube is way worse, and yes the wallace has LOTS of video... And its unfortunate. Facebook is a rough state of affairs too. I do regret adding to the internet hotspotting though, regardless of how small the impact a...

Cool, thanks Riverhunter, I never really paid attention to this type of lure, always thought it was more for bass and such. Might have to check them out.

Re: Leaders with egg loop

Thanks, didn't even think of Auburn sports, live right by it. I am trying to tie my own, just haven't had much success yet. Found some online but no barbless. if you are fishing one the rivers that recently opened for coho you don't need to use barbless. Now if you are fishing the salt, the Columbi...

Re: Leaders with egg loop

Thanks Onmygame. I have found a few sites with step by step pics and video, I just cant get the second part that puts the actual loop in the line. I bought several packs of the Gamakatsu just for this purpose. Just want to find some pre tied to get me thru until I have it down. OK, I really owe you ...

Re: GREEN RIVER

It was not crowded this weekend, if you have waders there is plenty of room to spread out, without them there is still room just limits where you can fish from.

Re: Green River Access?

The Meeker bridge by riverbend golf course. There is a trail that runs along the river with several places to get down to the water.
259th where it meets the interurban trail has a little access.
Kent soccer fields there are several places from there to 277th.

Re: GREEN RIVER

They are opening up to 277th on the 1st and to auburn-blackdiamond bridge on the 16th. Looks like they increased the limit as well.

Re: GREEN RIVER

Thanks Sideburns, I will have to check it out. Probably going to go down and hike at the park as well. Scheindogg, I am not sure about near the family fun center, I have seen folks fishing around Ft. Dent park just north of there. And there are a few spots on the other side of I-5 that are accessible.

Re: GREEN RIVER

They do the incremental opening to protect the Kings, The last few years it already would have been open at least up to the 277th bridge.
Might head up to Flaming geyser just to see them, hopefully in the next few years the king run will be strong enough to give us a fishery for them.
