Re: who makes there own soft plastics???

I don't pour baits anymore but I did in the past. I have literally poured 1000's of baits so feel free to shoot me any questions you might have. I would be more than happy to help out if I can.

Re: Restocking the tackle box

I would take a serious look at PowerTeam Lures line up of soft plastics. They have just about everything to cover your needs. The Craw D'oeuvre is phenomenal on jig or even drop shotted. The Texas-Rig Jig is great to pitch into cover. If you like tubes, the Food Chain Tube is IMO, the best on the ma...

Re: Sculpin pattern

The JP Hammer Shad from PowerTeam Lures makes a great sculpin imitator. It also makes a great baitfish imitator, it just depends on which colors you go with. Great baits. PM Sent

Re: Sen. Roach: Are Tigers Good or Bad on Lake Tapps?

I am planning on attending this meeting if I can. I agree with eveyone on here that we need to get accurate info from the biologists instead of a few under informed citizens. I don't even target tiger muskies myself, as I fish for bass 100% of the time. I do however catch quite a few over the course...

Re: Auburn sports and marine sale

Quite frankly, I stopped going there after Chris left. It is a joke, for sure! I can't help but think if you stock good quality bass stuff, not the junk that makes up (or at least made up) their bass selection over the last year or so, then angler's will come in and spend some money. I love the fact...

Re: any bodey wanna sponsor a 17 year old?

I would recommend toning it down a bit. I love the enthusiasm, but it's better to put your dues in first, before talking some trash. There are plenty of us tournament guys out there that would love for you to donate your money. We have some of the best tournament fishermen in the country in our stat...

Re: looking for a sponsor! Help!

As a former tackle business owner and a person who has been sponsored by several companies, I would say the most important thing is to focus on education first. Do good in school and then try to go to college and major in some sort of degree that would be helpful, such as marketing, business etc. Gr...

Re: '98 Johnson Venom 200hp outboard for sale

2 stroke. I took my prop off of this and put it on my new one, but I have a Renegade that I will put on it. It has some minor dings, but overall pretty good.

'98 Johnson Venom 200hp outboard for sale

I'm selling my 1998 Johnson Venom 200hp outboard. 20" shaft. I re-powered so this needs to go. Nixon's Marine just did a compression test on it and it is good (105-115) on all. Strong running motor. The trim/tilt motor went out on it and these run around $130. Needs a new home. I have a video they m...

Re: Bait Making

I would say those are open pour molds. Pour the belly color first, then the next, etc. The trick is timing so the colors fuse together properly without leaving a cold crack in the bait. A little practice and it is pretty easy to do. Austin, what craw bait are you pouring? Your'e making me want to ge...
