RE:Anyone Running a Tohotsu 4 Stroke

I grew up in a boat, and have owed Johnson's and Merc's. Last Aug I bought a new boat and found out that Tohatsu is making Merc's 4 stoke engines under 15hp, the only differance is the color of the cowling and $500 more for the Mercury name. I bought the Tohatsu and absolutely love it. Anyone else ...

Centennial Trail offer access at Sullivan Road and Liberty Lake/Otis Orchard. I have fished in the summer several times when the water level falls. Wear short and wade, when you feel cold spots you found a spring entering the river. It there is a riffle or run near by fish it. I have caught (no bul...

True story... The guy is pretty cool. Just leave 5 bucks in the "box" and launch away. Half the time he says "oh just catch me next time" .... maybe it's just my pretty face......... :-s

Well like I said it has been a while since I have been.... but yes, we have caught some nice trout in that stream. Horseshoe is a good lake. I cant say how it is for fly because when we used to fish it I was not fly fishing then, not that I exclusively fly fish now... Fish I have personally caught a...

RE:Camping/Bass Fishing spot

Peirre lake in Stevens Co has a forest service campgroud on the lake. Bass are there, although you have to fish with larger gear to get away from all the smaller bass. The campground can get a little wild in the evening after the sun and keystone light takes it toll. There is a swimming area and an...

We used to fish horseshoe religiously..... and blue lake as well (the small one right next to horseshoe) Blue has some big bass in it, but I don't think you can access it anymore by foot - you can by boat via horseshoe. Also the stream that heads out of horseshoe and feeds Eloika.... NICE trout in t...

I guess I am sticking my nose where it doesn’t belong… I am from the other side of the mountains. But how could you be so passionate about obeying the fishing regs, but then turn around and slash some ones tires? I assume you were implying slashing tires… or worse.

It’s called poor integrity. [-x

jmay, you hit right on the nose! Especially about WDFW. =d> Unfortunately just about every state has the same problem. Look at what they did in Idaho to Priest & Pend Oreille lakes. Same with Montana, look at Flathead…. I frequent Montana about once every other month. We fish the Flathead River and ...

I grew up around Fan Lake and have fished it many times. I haven't been there in about 4 or 5 years. We used to catch some decent trout, and some very nice bass.

Hey did you see any bass? I would have thought the water temp would have been higher.... The bass are probably spawning right now if the water temp is 68. Maybe I will go check it out! RE:The State of the Spawn

Most bass will be in the zone between deep and shallow water (the flats) after the spawn. Some will go deep to recoup, but the water will still be cold, so most of them will be in the zone mentioned before. Bass that have migrated to the back of coves and flats associated with major creeks will begi...
