Re: where are you going for opening weekend?

Limited out w/in 30 minutes Monday and Tuesday on Pine Lake. Great fishing, and some of the stockers are pretty nice. Saw a couple guys get triploids, fat ones. Sunday I went out to Lake Morton (Aunt lives there, so private dock) and limited out as well pretty quick. Much better fishing there than i...

Re: where are you going for opening weekend?

Yeah, beautiful lake, and the fishing is excellent. Gets fished out pretty quick, but I've always wanted to go out there in a boat. I hear there are some excellent spots out there, especially where the Spring goes in. You can tell where it is because there is a guy who swims the lake all the time, a...

Hey Quad, I'm off on Monday and Tuesday, so if you just "happen" to get out on the lake and have an extra spot on the boat, let me know [-o<

Thanks for the info fellas, I think we will be doing from shore. But my brother in Law may have the hookup on a boat, so hoping for some trolling. Just looking forward to getting out on the lake and chillin.

I'm gonna' meet a friend and head on down to Brown's Point tomorrow (friday the 26th), just curious if anyone else from the site will be there tomorrow. Thanks for all the suggestions, we will def. look into them, and try to get crackin on reserving a spot.
Fish Lake in June will be killer of course, after fishing there, I can't imagine another place w/fishing at that level.

RE:Any good camping spots between Tacoma and Mt. Rainier?

Hey Lee, this is what I found on Alder Lake, let me know if this is the same area, and which of these campsites you may have been at. Alder Lake At Alder Lake you'll find swimming beachs, playgrounds, open lawn areas, campgrounds, two boat launches, and picnic sites. There is year round camping avai...

Yeah, when we went there last year and tried to fish from shore by the waterfall thing, ppl were just slaying in boats and paddle boats. So annoying hahahaha

RE:Any good camping spots between Tacoma and Mt. Rainier?

Cool, thanks. Our preference is killer fishing over how close we are to the water for sure. One thing we did like about Lk. Sylvia was how close you were to the water, but it seemed like the ppl in boats were the ones catching the hogs. Fish Lake is incredible, we're hitting that again in June.

Any good camping spots between Tacoma and Mt. Rainier?

My family and I want to find a place to camp w/fishing from a dock, from shore, and maybe even boat rentals. We are thinking somewhere between say the Roy Y down in Tacoma and Mt. Rainier. We will be going July 22-24. Any suggestions would be appreciated, especially if there's any places where you c...

RE:Fish Lake

Well, I can honestly say this is the best lake I've ever fished. We started just fishing from the dock on thursday afternoon, and it was probably pushing 90 deg. We were on the front left corner and casting out maybe 50-60 feet, and had a bite or a fish on every single cast, no joke. It got to be fu...

RE:Fish Lake

Excellent, thanks for the tips guys, off to the left it is. With a bunch of us going, it should be fun. Most of the kids like doing the bobber thing, the rest of us usually just fish off bottom w/powerbait. But, I'm gonna' try to do some trolling w/wedding rings for sure. 38 trout?? holy crap:cheers:
