RE:Introduce Your Pet

Zeeker is an English Mastiff. All current 180 lbs of him! He's a great dog but take note that they are stubborn, very aware of their weight, will tear your furniture to shreds if they don't have enough play toys, Trust me, we learned the hard way, we won't go into the land mines that they leave behi...

RE:Shakespeare Mean Mama Sturgeon Rod price question???

Big D,
I use the Shakespeare sturdy stik myself for Sturgeon and it works great. I believe it falls in the $60-$70 range on price. Not Sure if that's what you have possesion of. It's white with blue trim.

RE:Fellow forum member/angler passed today.

I too never interacted with Stampie directly but saw and read his postings. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. I hope that at some point down the road, they have the ability to see what each of you that did know him personally wrote about your friend. Sometimes you just never k...

RE:Career change a comin'

I'm thinking option 3 for you myself. In both options 1 and 2 you mentioned having to get a part time job to make ends meet. That on top of study time and cost of going to school can and will rack up quickly (never mind the stress of that). Everything will have some type of costs. Even option 3 beca...

I got a Wii with all the goodies and a few games, a gorgeous tool box for the truck and we both went in on a 32 inch plasma for the bedroom.

RE:Lakewood PD Fallen Officer's Fund

With heavy hearts at least as of this morning we can say that the trash has been taken out. Maybe, just maybe the results of this morning will help the grieving families and friends of the fallen officers. At least they will never have to go through a trial and have to look over at the SOB that caus...

RE:Invisible Fence

I ran one of those electric wires around my yard to make sure my pit and rottie stayed within the backyard. I also tied yellow flags on the wire about every 3 feet or so to help them know exactly where the boundary was. Within 10 min of turning the unit on, my Rottie peed on the fence and got the sh...

Lets help each other with Holiday shopping ideas!

Guys and Gals, it’s that time of year to head into the nightmare of the malls and shopping centers for Holiday gifts. Thought I would open this thing up to see if we can’t all help each other out with ideas for gifts that we may be thinking of giving or have received in the past that made an impress...

RE:MAYOR MC CHEESE BANS CONCEALED CARRY IN CITY PARKS!

This whole thing is dumb. It's not those of us that carry a concealed weapon legally that these idiots should be worried about. It's the ones shooting up the place and people for the dumbest of reasons. This came up as a "concern" after a shooting at Seattle center but oddly enough, Seattle center i...

Thank you Norm and DJ for your service to this country. Thank you for putting your well being on the line for the freedoms that we enjoy. Hanapaa808,
If you follow some of the threads in the Crab season 09 forum, you'll get a little bit of an idea of what locations to try. I'll also send you a pm on where I have gone for the past few years out of Everett.

Good luck.

That being said, I think the original message is being lost as the thread goes on: go prepared, think ahead and treat others as you would have them treat you. That is all this is really about and all any one of us can ask of another.

Perfectly said right there.

Maury - As I wrote "generally speaking" boaters are cool as hell out on the water. This is based on my experiences. Not everyone waves back, granted, who cares? Anyone that rides a motorcycle knows that most of us acknowledge each other as we pass. Not everyone will give you a sign of acknowledgment...

Best of luck to you Christopher and your family. You said it perfectly dude, you have to do what's best for your family. Just cause your out of Washington doesn't mean that you can't pop into the site from time to time to see what's going on in the fishing world of the great northwest right? Again, ...
