For Sale: Railblaza Camera boom extension

I have decided to go with a different camera boom on my kayak, and am selling my 'Railblaza Camera boom 600 Pro Series'. This is what you use to mount a camera such as a GoPro, or literally any camera that has a standard screw in mount which you normally use on a tripod, etc. You mount this boom on ...

Fetha Styx blanks...?

Does anyone have any background info. etc. on Fetha Styx blanks? I realize the local AWESOME company has been out of business a few years now. I have a 10’6. Chrome series DR rod. Completely carbon fiber. It is the nicest rod I own, however fishing out of kayaks and Prams now, a 10’6 rod is entirely...

I don’t want to reply with “Haha”, like laughing at you, But I enjoyed your tale for sure. Yeah, just imagine owning home in that environment. You see how so many places out there just look ragged.

Re: Downriggers and Shakers

I am assuming you are talking about fishing Coho? Shakers just come with territory. Just realize you need to check your gear regularly. If I am noticing a lot of shakers, then I am SUPER attentive to watching the rod tip vibration. Another words, if I see my normal rhythm on the tip, and at some poi...

Meadowdale beach, Carkeek Park, Golden Gardens, Lincoln Park, Discovery Park.
I like to fish the incoming tide, 1 to 1.5 hour prior to high tide. I avoid low tide.

Wall mounted rod holder options, or DIY?

What are some of you using for a wall mounted rod holder? Either vertical or horizontal. I came home with one from Cabellas, and it’s junk, or going in the garbage. Of course a guy could fabricate something, but I just sold all my woodworking gear. Post a pic, if you have something that you really l...
