Northwest Fishing Reports

Anyone giving bass a shot recently or going to soon? I'm thinking of giving some shallower muddy lakes a try in the next week or so later in the day time. I'm hoping some high 40 temps in the day will warm smaller or shallower lakes a little sooner than others. Probably focus on some open water slo...

Steelheading is keeping me busy. Iced guides and tromping through 15” of snow is getting exhausting though.

If you ever come back up to Bellingham send me a PM and I will take you out fishing! I mostly fish rivers but I also bass and trout fish local lakes, either gear or fly fishing. I'd be happy to show you what I know.

Unfortunately pretty slow still, even last year was better at this time in November.

It's still really slow. Tried for a couple hours yesterday since the rivers are blown and didn't see a single chum.

You should hit Padden before it closes on the 31st, it was stocked this month with around 1200 trout that are about 1.3 pounds each. Electric only but there is a good launch if you haven't been.

No, it is the Cascade. It will be open to fishing for Coho on the lower section, BELOW the cascade river bridge. Up river from there is Catch and Release only.

FishAddict have you had any chances to hit any beaches for coho yet? I caught a nice one off an MA9 beach last weeked. Currently tying up some trailer hook clousers for those short strikes I always seem to get.

I have been using this app since the "Beta Testing" last year sometime. I love it. It gives just about everything you could need to know for fishing regs, and you can download them for offline use as well. It also has links to report poaching, check emergency updates, etc.

That is friggin awesome. Hopefully you get a couple EW bassing videos up. You should keep this thread updated as you go from county to county. Good luck!

Also- what’s your definition of a keeper for this trip? A couple pounds? Or are you going for a 4+ in every county?

Saturday was slow indeed. The Nooksack was producing more chum than the creek by a good margin, plus the ones I fought on the Nooksack were bigger and more aggressive.
