To clarify, there is no scheduled opening for salmon on the Skagit this fall. The river closes on July 16 and doesn't reopen until December. No coho or pink fishing, period.

Latest news is a deal has been made, but they will be cutting it very close to get the budget signed on Friday.

Numbers on the skagit are not looking that great as of now of course that could change any moment but on contrary lake washington seems to be doing ok.
