Kokanee for Father's Day

I'm wanting to take my kids fishing with me for Father's Day. Wondering which lake is doing best right now for kokes...

American (1 hour drive)
Summit (1.5 hour)
Stevens (2 hour)

Thanks, and Happy Father's Day weekend to all of you dads out there.

Re: Trolling without a downrigger

I found a great article online...including a section on fishing without a downrigger.

http://www.fishwithgary.com/kokanee_uni ... part1.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There are 3 parts to the article, and this particular subject is in Part 2.

Re: Clear Lake, Pierce County on kokanee

I went to Clear Lake this past Saturday. Lots of action from the rainbows, but no Kokanee. Used a pink dodger with a pink hoochie, tipped with wsp corn. Are there any ways to distinguish Kokanee from rainbows on a fishfinder? i.e. do they school together differently?

Re: Lakes with boat rentals

Mineral Lake Resort rents aluminum row boats. If you want to troll, you'll need to bring your own motor, or rent a pontoon boat, which is quite a bit more $$$.
