Cmon nate its not just the foreigners that poach.....i will bet on any given day that they hand out more tickets to people that speak english than do not. Poaching is not a crime committed by any specific race but its more a crime of opportunity and greed.

Kzoo, any reports i have been reading as well as info from friends crabbing in the hood canal area are saying its hot right now. Don't know exactly where the resort you're staying at is but went out last week and did well near potlatch area. Hope this helps.

American lake probably has some of the biggest rock bass ive ever seen. Ive caught them up to 10 inches and theyre so agressive ive caught them using power eggs while fishing for trout.

Unfortunately due to the depth limitations its almost impossible to fish for ling cod under the narrows bridge. Toliva shoal south of the bridge would make the only other suitable area within the maximum approved depth to harvest ling cod.

Rich if you're shooting reloads most of them are pretty dirty. For this reason i don't use wolf for hsm target ammo. Sellier and Bellot make a pretty clean ammo for the price. If ya can give those a try.
