Dogfish around the pier?

Is anyone catching them lately on the piers? I'm around area 7 Bellingham and feeling like eating them. Used to catch dozens every night in the summer but not sure about fall mornings. :-k

I catch hundreds on them on Bellingham Boulevard Park pier, marine area 7. I basically get a bait fish right under the dock then use it with a bottom rig as if I'm fishing for catfish. They travel in group and usually congregate the piers or any coast line with lights. Lights mean baitfish, and bait...

Chumming with dry ice?

I don't know if this is legal or not, but can I throw dry ice under my boat to cool the temperature down a bit, hence attracting trouts with the "cool spot?" I know trouts prefer cool water, but this idea seems kind of suspicious for them. Has anyone ever tried it? I'm thinking dropping the dry ice ...
