Lil Corky Size and Hook Size
Posting again with another newbie question... Can I get some advise on matching Lil' Corky size with the appropriate hook size. I realize that the bigger the Lil Corky, the bigger the hook should be but would like to get some examples of actual sizes. Like what size hook to use with Lil Corky size 6...

October River Fishing Help
My son and I would like to do some river fishing for 3-4 days during the third week of October. We would be fishing out of the Redmond area and would like to hit rivers that are within an hour or 2 of Redmond. I realize that river conditions at the time will probably be the biggest factor in choosin...

RE:Salmon/Steelhead Spinning Outfit Advise
Thanks for all the replies. I think I'll go with 12 pound mono to start and get some spinners and spoons in various sizes. I'll give that a try first then move to drift fishing and float fishing. So likely I'll have more questions. Can I use the 8'6" rod I describe above for float fishing or will I ...

Thanks. What about line size. Would 12 pound mono be a good start or should I go with 14 pound, or heavier???

Salmon/Steelhead Spinning Outfit Advise
I'm brand new to Washington State salmon and steelhead fishing and want to put together and "all around" (if that is possible) spinning outfit for fishing Washington rivers for these fish. I could use some advise. So far I have a St. Croix Wild River spinning rod. It is model WS86MHF2, 8'6" and medi...

RE:Trip Suggestions
OK. So it looks like we'll make Potholes a part of the trip. How about another suggestions then? Let's say we fished Potholes on Wed/Thur/Fri and maybe got in a bird hunt in the area while we are there. Any suggestions for where we could try for some salmon/steelhead on the way back heading West on ...

RE:Trip Suggestions
Thanks for your post gpc. I'm not sure what you mean by the potholes. Can you elaborate? What are they, where are they? What are you fishing for there? Thanks again.

RE:Boat Rentals - Lake Washington/Sammamish
Thanks folks. Kzoo, I am from Midland. My son just moved out to Kirkland last summer and I will be going out to visit him soon. Seems strange to me that these 2 large lakes have no where to rent fishing boats.

Boat Rentals - Lake Washington/Sammamish
I'm planning to visit Washington this summer and am wondering if there are any boat rentals (fishing boats) available on Lake Washington or Sammamish. I've looked online but really haven't found anything yet. Any advise? Thanks.
