RE:Christine is at it again

If they increase the license fees it wont be all that bad. We have actually had it pretty good for several years with the fees we currently have. I remember what the license fees were like 12 years ago when we had a food fish license, gamefish license, warm water enhancement, saltwater enhancement, ...

RE:Using gamefish as bait?

Looks like I definitely need to head out and find a reg's book and a ruler. Any idea where to find the book? Is it safe to assume the varied regulations are posted on the bulletin board(s) near the boat launch/fishing areas or in the book? I don't want to be "that" guy who ends up causing intrusive...

RE:Corn. legal or illegal?

I've only chummed in American lake down here in tacoma/lakewood area because it is legal, but I rarely do it. Ive chummed it maybe 4 times and ive been fishing it for over 20 years. JohnKTKim: as far as the crawdads go I know for a fact they have them in american lake, as well as mayfield lake. And ...

RE:Deep Lake, King County

Anne, there are so many lakes within an hours drive of seattle that you can shore fish from this time of year it would take to long to list them. but to name a few there is: angle lake=king count (this one is legal year round) fivemile =king county(also year round) green lake=king county(check the r...

RE:Corn. legal or illegal?

I have used corn before myself in several lakes around my area. I believe that white corn or sweet corn are the best options for putting on a hook like a #8 or #10 egg hook. If your are on a lake that allows chumming, creamed corn works great as a chum but I would suggest putting it in a blender bef...

RE:Corn. legal or illegal?

Okay I've checked thhe rules there is no mention of corn. As far as the topic of using live bait here is what it says in the rules: (taken directly from the harvest and possesion rules section of the book) You may not: Posses or use live fish for game fish bait. And according to the WDFW game fish a...

RE:Rufus Woods "fisherman" loses boat for overlimit.

Im glad to see that at least one of the bad ones got caught. As far as wether he was using bait is beside the point because anyone who uses bait and catches more than the limit (even if they only keep thier limit is guilty) because the law is clear if you use bait even if you release it, it is suppo...

RE:Tips for cold water fishing needed

Most definately go for the bottom in the winter. Because large bodies of water such as lakes take longer to heat up and cool down than the surronding land and air the fish are gonna go to the deeper parts of the water in the winters months because the water will actually be warmer for them. also in ...
