Re: Roosevelt 'eyes
Fishinlegend, there is a place on the tribal side of the river. Look it up on Google map, it's called West End Church and accessed of West End Road. I haven't fished it in a couple years but it used to be a great walleye spot. just be aware that if you launch from the tribal side of the river you n...

Thanks for separating this out. IIRC, the invasive species form was implemented last year. Easy peasy, self inspection, place form so visible from windshield.

Re: Roosevelt 'eyes
If you don't need a launch don't use it. Just remember, launch fees are used to maintain all improved access to the water, ramps, docks, toilets, parking, etc. not just provide access for trailered boats. Boat Launch permits are required year-round at all Lake Roosevelt's National Park Service boat ...

With all the identity theft problems our society faces this makes no sense to me not to mention I don't want my real name posted all over the internet and that's what will happen.

Re: Big changes coming in regards to trout and kokanee fishing on Washington State lakes
I read the report shortly after it was published but what I haven't found yet how the commission acted on staff recommendations. Tried to find such a report on WDFW's site just last week but without success. While the effort to simplify the statewide rules makes sense, and I applaud the effort, my b...

Re: rules proposal: no limit on pan fish
For years (decades) and to this day, the statewide general rules have had the "no limit" on most of the panfish : CRAPPIE, NORTHERN PIKEMINNOW, PEAMOUTH CHUB, PERCH, SUCKERS, SUNFISH, CATFISH (except CHANNEL), ROCK BASS, STRIPED BASS: No min. size. No daily limit. The exceptions in the existing rul...

Re: Best line for trolling walleyes???
Though not a walleye setup I do run fluoro leader on my trout trolling setups with leadcore. Have caught walleye while trolling for trout so maybe that counts.

I'd go with bunks unless you're loading/unloading frequently in areas where roller would be beneficial.
Re: My Father
Sorry to hear of your loss. I, too, know the finality that comes with losing your dad as mine died 22yrs ago at 61 and really thought about that when I turned 61 last month. Remember the good times you shared together and keep his memory alive in your heart, if so, you will never be separated from h...

Re: propane heater
The canvas is so much more expensive than propane though.... This darned lund 1600 angler (deep vee aluminum 60hp outboard) has a single sided windscreen (driver has to tuck behind it to get shielded from wind at speed). any kind of enclosure plan at all first has to deal with the lacking windshiel...

I bookmarked the forum sign in page so that's where it opens every time I log in. Rarely ever go to the site homepage. Mike if you guys are meeting this weekend maybe you can discuss moving "Mark forums read" from under "Search" and put under "Forum". Even though I know where it is, I still catch my...

We have the standard size Buddy/Mr. Heater and place on the bow step which takes it out of the way. Works great.

Re: Fisherman Caught on Video Jumping into Water to Avoid Crash
I dunno, didn't consider the boating education card a license in the traditional sense, but certainly better than nothing for those who care as an operator. It's a one time deal, no renewal required unlike land bound driver license. Didn't take the test, the state accepted my USCG Boating Skills and...

Ok, that's great. Thanks Aaron. I don't see it anywhere other than the home page. Any chance of putting it on every page's reports drop down? I never go to the home page. [biggrin] edit: I mostly only use the 'active topics' page. Noticed the same thing and when using the reports drop down menu on ...

FIXED! Thanks Mike and Aaron.
When you read a report, the author is now "clickable" and doing so takes you to all their reports.
