Re: Looking for a guide
If you want fish that time of year Id suggest saltwater fishing in areas that are open. The salmon wont really be coming up river like riverhunter stated.

Re: Lost and Found, Lost, Help!
After I forgot a net at Reiter one time I always check my "fishing list" I create the night before on my phone. I usually check it before I leave my spots as well and it has helped. I often talk to myself when I leave the house or my fishing spot. keys, phone, wallet, poles, boxes, etc hahaaha. Glad...

Re: Why We Have Rules
Agreed. Fishing Barbless is nice when practicing C&R to ensure a much more easy release too. I fish systems like the Stilly (When its open) which is barbless only. I educate others I see using trebles or barbs since I see it all t he time. A good fisherman can land a fish barb or not, but it does gi...

Re: Bowfishing
I saw quite a few carp in Lake Washington last weekend bass fishing. They're in there too. Pretty sure you can bow hunt for them in there as well. But don't take my word for it haha.
Shallow areas with weeds is the key for finding carp though.

Re: Reiter Access on Road side
Indeed, many of my preferred spots on the sky involve crossing tracks. One spot I have given up on since Ive had the "neighbors" tell me its illegal and blah blah... They should start having designated foot traffic crossings for known fishing spots which again I know has been discussed in other foru...

Re: Lake Info?
I might be missing something here. But when I try to look for lake reports I come up with not much. If I search for Goodwin for example, there is 1 report that comes up. Where do I find the information where it listed all reports for a certain body of water as well as sorting by species? The old web...

Re: Spring is here, Summer is coming
Right on. Yeah Terrell is one of the larger lakes I've taken my pontoon on so far in the last year or two. I mostly fish smaller lakes with it. And my buddy's bass boat cant go on Whatcom unfortunately since its a 2 stoke. But ill have to give it a try one of these days. I need to try Goodwin too si...

I wake up earlier to fish then I do for work, but somehow its so much easier to wake up when your going fishing than to work... hahahah. Ill be up around 4:45AM tomorro...

Re: That's so thrifty! (Budget-friendly fishing tips compilation)
Also, I organized and cleaned up up my bass & salmon gear last night. Turns out I have 3 boxes full of bass gear and 3 boxes full of salmon gear, mostly unopened stuff... I have a problem, but should save some $$$ this year since I can shop in my garage haha. Hello, My name is Tanner... and I have a...

Re: That's so thrifty! (Budget-friendly fishing tips compilation)
One of best ways I have found to save on tackle (primarily for bass) is to grab your snorkel and explore heavily fished bass spots. Last summer I did that a few times, and ended up scoring a lot of hooks, jigs, spinners, and much more. Plus, it accomplishes several other things too. Taking free tac...

Re: Opening Weekend!
I have a friend who lives on lake Ki and I have been to the opener there for prob the last 15 years. Its more for the entertainment of watching the parade of boats trolling around trying not to run into each other. Also all of the neighbors are usually hammered by about 8am haha. ALWAYS catch lots o...

Re: Bass fishing?
No at all Fishin Daze. I hope no one is offended by my posts either. Just education & opinion as far as I'm concerned. I really don't keep bass. Maybe once a year if its in a nice clean water system where they are a nuisance fish, such as the Columbia trip I have coming up in May or camping trips. F...
