No prob. The good thing about Navionics is that they are constantly being updated with more data from users.

Re: Which mapping system for roosevelt??

+1 on the Navionics Platinum. Also, FYI...the Navionics+ Regions West will have the same level of detail for a lower cost. Only difference is you will not get sat overlay or the 3D view. Here is an example of the detail on Roosevelt. http://www.thebassbite.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Screen-Shot-...

Here is more info on the rebate. Stores should have the envelopes and full details.

Re: Your old chart card still has value

AMX. That will work and no need for the codes on the card. For your graphs and for fishing around here, both the Navionics+ Regions West or Platinum West will have great coverage for the whole west coast. The main difference (besides cost) is that the Platinum card has satellite overlay. The map det...

Re: Anybody fish Thompson Lake anymore?

I have been to Banks countless times and never even knew there was a lake there on Steamboat. I checked Navionics (not that I didn't believe it was there) and there it is. It's even mapped. Sounds like I need to make a trip in the future. http://www.thebassbite.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Screen-...

Re: Fall Bass fishing - Fake News!

This is my favorite time of year. Throw bigger baits as the fish are feeding up heavily now before winter creeps in. My strategy is to throw 4-6" swimbaits, move fast and hit deep weedlines, mainlake points and underwater points like the one shown here. http://www.thebassbite.com/wp-content/uploads/...

Re: Recommendations GPS/fish finder

As another thing to consider, several fishfinders are now available as bundled products with a Navionics+ card already in there. It is a huge savings compared to buying the card at retail. You will have to ask your dealer if they have the bundles, but these are the units. HUMMINBIRD: Helix 5, 7 LOWR...

Re: Bassin @ potholes

Almost forgot to ask, how's the water level? Is there a site or someway to know? I know this is an old post, but I usually just call Mardon's to get the actual numbers it is high or low and the adjust my maps accordingly. Made a big difference the last time I went a few weeks ago when it was 20 fee...

Re: Recommendations GPS/fish finder

Not to hijack the thread, but what advantages do you see in Navionics over the standard Lowrance mapping? Gary #1 would be number of lakes mapped. #2 would be level of detail and #3 is how Navionics maps are continually getting better every day. They process over 2,000 updates each day and I as wel...

Re: Recommendations GPS/fish finder

Have never had any issues with the Lowrance HDS units. Started at Gen 1 then upgraded to Gen 2 touch and am now running HDS Carbons. Solid and withstand the abuses of fishing alot. I run it with a Navionics platinum card and can see satellite overlay as well as mapping. http://www.thebassbite.com/wp...

Navionics Color Shading

There is also a new fishing range option on the Navionics app with various colors and it is amazing! If you already have the app just update it and the feature is there. http://www.thebassbite.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Screenshot_20180809-155532_Boating-HD.jpg http://www.thebassbite.com/wp-cont...

What is "deep" to you?

I have been adjusting my colored depth ranges on my Navionics app and started to wonder what deep is to everyone. What do you consider "deep" when bass fishing? Here is how I have my depths categorized. http://www.thebassbite.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Screenshot_20180809-155532_Boating-HD.jpg h...

Satellite Overlay and Google Earth

I'm sure most of you use Google Earth to find spots and I definitely do, but I have been doing it with my Lowrance units as well. The Navionics Platinum card has sat overlay and you can view the image as well as contours at the same time. I have found out that adjusting the transparency makes things...

Re: Lake Merwin fisherman, get in here...

Was just talking about this lake last week with the employees at the Lacey, Cabela's. Going to have to check it out on my next trip. They said it is a pretty good fishery and were impressed with the Navionics map quality when I showed them the creek channel and community edits with good fishing spot...

Updated Map on Clear Lake (Spokane)

I've been fishing quite a few local lakes lately and mapping for Navionics while I fish. I wanted to let you all know that Clear Lake has now been updated. You can see the before and after shots below for a backwater area that had zero mapping at the time. Here is a little shot of the area I fished ...
