Re: Headed To The OP

I would not suggest either of those as they are not "really" on the OP but rather Grays Harbor Systems. They both are options but if I were you and Gas was not an issue I would set my sights on more exclusive waters.

Danny you are quite wrong, but I like that, maybe it will help keep the crowds down!

Re: Top Ten Washington Salmon Fishing Rivers.

I love the Samish and I can't believe your list doesn't include Minter Creek. Minter and the Samish produce such numbers and quality experiences that they should be in the top 5 easily.

Re: Jig Trailer

Jim I sent you a message about getting in your boat. Let me know if it would work out on a close run like the Sky or Snohomish. I can't break free for long trips but I have a family member that would kick down some $$ for gas along with myself to make it work your while. I hope it doesn't affect my ...

Re: Chum dog snapped my Lamiglas!

I am sure you take care of your rods but that will make a big difference too with the Guides and such. The higher end rods are often over rated but better warrantied. Shoot me a PM if you have any problems because I have a friend that works in the office down there.

Re: Olympic Penninsula Adventures Together

I am planning a few days of fishing out on the coastal rivers and could use a shuttle if you want to hook up. I have a boat I will be taking down but other folks with a shuttle rig would make it easier.

Let me know.

Re: *New WA Record Fish - Pending

True and agreed. There are always roaming groups from other places that wander in un-noticed that can alter the numbers or odds. I know that now there is a growing contingent of folks that are going after the musk with flies and big rods and some of them have been doing it for quite a while under th...

Sounds like they tail roped that Muskie and drown it like a tuna. Way to go!

I disagree, age, weight and length are never certain factors in a fishes ability to be caught again. Always C&R

I have fished a wide variety of water for pike and muskies too, mostly with a fly, but you are going to love going after steelhead and salmon and you are in a great spot to do it! I have lived in various places off and on but coming home to seattle was much anticipated just for the seasons of fun fi...

Re: Sickening salmon snagging video

I love fishing at hatchery intakes and spawning grounds, that is where the largest concentration of fish are! If you feel sorry for fish why would you even go fishing? I would never snag fish like this kid in the video because it is illegal, but you can bet that I use every advantage possible to bri...
