Currently I have an old valco 12 ft. and I want to get into about a 16-18 ft. open boat. I tinker alot with about everything mechanical so I plan on getting boat only and add to it as time goes by. What if any advice does anyone have with center consoles?

One thing that I have learned with deep cycle batteries is to have a three stage charger. It makes a huge difference in how long your battery will last and perform.
