Steelhead newbie north of seattle

hi, does anyone have suggestions for places north of Seattle for a newbie to try out steelhead? iI have fresh and salt gear.

I've always wanted to try out winter steelhead, but iI don't have any friends or family that fish.

Thanks,
Liam
