Re: Warning! Skykomish Car Prowlers
Do the crackheads hit all the parking areas up that way? I went up to Reiter and it was the same thing with the glass all over the place. I'm not driving anything too fancy either, trust me, but that hasn't stopped them from stealing it out of my parking lot two times. I live in downtown Everett, ne...

Re: Warning! Skykomish Car Prowlers
It was fun, but it amazed me more than anything. They must just hang out there all day and wait for people to show up.

Warning! Skykomish Car Prowlers
Morning All, Parked on the S. Side of bridge there at Mann Rd in Sultan. Forgot my smokes in the car, so walked back only to find a couple of crackheads scampering around. I not so politely put the run on them and they headed across the bridge towards town talking crap the whole way. Typical tweaker...

Canyon Creek Hatchery Steelhead
Anyone ever caught one? I have fished Canyon Creek above Granite Falls for years and I have only caught natives. They're fun to catch, but I would like to catch something I can bring home for a change.

Lower Snohomish River?
Has anyone caught anything out of the lower Snohomish yet? I've been out the last few days with no luck, and without seeing any rolling or movement at all. With the amount of people on the bank and boats in the water I thought that they were in, but I was wrong.

Skykomish/Snohomish Rivers Still Open?
This is probably a dumba** question, but are the Skykomish and Snohomish Rivers still open for steelhead, or are they closed. I tried looking at the regs, but can't figure out what it's talking about with all the special rules and what not. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Skykomish River Chum
I hit the hole on the East side of Monroe Correctional this afternoon. River is in really good shape. Plunked a spin 'n glo and eggs and had a couple of nice hits, but I wasn't paying attention, so nothing landed. There were some fish moving around, but not a whole hell of a lot. Saw 3 or 4 people d...

Snohomish River Chum
Does anyone know when the chum are really going to be pushing up the Snohomish through Lowell? Usually if the fish are there, Lowell is lined with cars and Rotary is full of boat trailers, but I haven't seen either. I've seen Chum rolling on the Sky so I know they're moving up now, but a guy at the ...

Re: South Forks Stillaguamish Steelhead?
I've flyfished both the North and South forks during the winter and done relatively well. Big purple flies are what I've hit them on.

Re: South Forks Stillaguamish Steelhead?
Thanks I'll try the North Fork too. Never have had any luck with jigs, I've mostly hit them drifting sandshrimp or eggs, but from what I've heard they're the way to go. Even for the salmon that won't hit anything.

South Fork Stillaguamish Steelhead?
Has anyone fished for steelhead up on the stilly above Granite Falls in the last few years? I used to fish Red Bridge, Blue Bride, Verlot, and every other hole along Mountain Loop Hwy, but I haven't been up there for a long time.

Re: Snohomish River Lowell Coho
I passed too. The lower river is totally blown out now, and with more rain to come I think that will about do it. I wish you guys luck. I'm holding out for winter run.

Re: Snohomish River Lowell Coho
I hear ya. I have a really hard time fishing arm to arm with people. At least on the lower river, even if you don't catch anything it is still pleasant. I'll probably head out after work and hit lowell on my way home, about the same time you're thinking. Hopefully you'll hook something.

Re: Snohomish River Lowell Coho
Visibility is right around 2-3 feet now. Went out this morning and didn't get anything. Lowell is blown out, so I went to the sky, its in good shape, but not much going on.

Donkey Hole Snohomish River
Went out to the Donkey Hole a couple days ago. Chum and Silvers are stacked in there, but the ones I seen surface have a lot of color in them. Kind of old and moldy at this point, but probably good smokers. Had a couple on drifting eggs on a bobber, but nothing landed.

Re: Snohomish River Lowell Coho
Thanks guys. Went out the last couple of days, chums are definetly in. I can get them to bite, but they're mouthing it and I can't get a hook set. I'm just drifting eggs with orange and purple yarn on a 6' leader with a bobber. Orange, purple, hot pink, and black are the colors I'm seeing action on.
