I don't use baitcasters myself but I can tell you that typically a higher quality baitcaster reel is gonna cost you more than a quality spinning reel. If you want something pretty sensitive but not higher priced look into some of the casting G.Loomis EX6 rods.

like David said, a little further but Leland is a great bet for fishing if you're interested in lakes around. It's pretty dead for trout right now unless you have a boat or Cutthroat are biting. Not many Rainbows left around the shoreline but it has the best shore access out of the lakes mentioned.

Got this one today..Not the prettiest fish, realllly dark, but the meat isn't bad on it and it hasn't spawned yet so I wouldn't call bonking it a mistake. Still darkest steelhead I've ever caught.
