Re: Hello, where is everyone?
Thank you everyone for all your replies. I agree with majority of your comments, and the reason I asked is because I too lament the decline of the forum.
I am pretty confident though the below is a contributing factor. Can anyone spot the problem?

Hello, where is everyone?
Sorry if this is off topic; not sure where to post but this subforum seems the most active that I can find. I've been a member and fan of NWFR (and previously WALake ) for a few years. Was pretty absent last summer due to work, but since the fall I've been back on, and surprised that forum activity ...

I'm from Seattle, and you are right, better to be prepared than to try to find an open side on the dry side!

Who carries spring bobbers and jigs in Washington?
Thinking about going over the pass this long weekend to have my first try at ice fishing. Probably Curlew as there are reports that there's 5-8". Are there any places that I can pick up jigs and spring bobbers? I have an auger already. And if anyone has ice condition reports, please share! This will...

Re: I-82 ponds?
I think you are thinking Matoon Lake. I don't know much about it besides what I learned on this forum, links below. Actually wondering if there are any shore access besides the launch area, as I'm shore bound for the most part. http://www.northwestfishingreports.com/FeaturedLake.aspx?id=533" onclick...

I-82 ponds generally refers not to Fio Rito but to a series of ponds south of Yakima, afaik.TrackerPro16 wrote:You are probably talking about Fiorito Ponds

Just pointing out this is the third thread I've read today where dj2loud is having a hissyfit because he has a bias against Native Americans. He is of course entitled to his own probably racist opinion. I am entitled to judge him too.

Re: WDFW - Projections indicate low coho runs
Dj2loud you sure live up to your name. I also do have trouble believing that you fished 3 months or 90 days, every day, all for one coho. Why were you doing, needing to waste your time?? Asking for punishment?

Re: Ice Reports 2016-2017
Is Elioka looking like a pretty good bet for midweek next week in terms of ice thickness? Any other lakes in central or eastern Washington worth a try? From the wet side but want to go out with the family as kids have school off. Never done ice fishing before but bought manual auger and going to dri...

Re: Kokanee Parasites
nah. MY SOURCE says kenimes planted the infested fish himself and when he realized it he panicked and tried to find someone else to shift the blame to. WDFW was the perfect scapegoat; they are vulnerable as no one trusts them anyway. Don't blame kemimes though, it was an honest mistake as he was jus...

You mean Lowell-Snohomish River Road, south of the river right? That's too bad. Times are tough.
