Ethanol Free Fuel

Just FYI for those interested. The new fuel stations at Holiday Market in Burlington and River Rock at Island Crossing
are both carrying ethanol free fuel. If this is posted somewhere else I apologize for the redundancy.

Re: Baker Lake Sockeye WDFW meeting

Thanks for posting. I was at the November meeting, but somehow never received notification of this meeting?
If anyone has interest in this fishery, which I assume there is based on the number of trailers at the ramps, I would encourage people to attend this meeting.

Re: Baker Lake Sockeye!

Is that a question, or are you perfectly content with the status quo? Total spawning escapement requirements are 7,800 fish. Total "anticipated" run, less escapement fish, defines harvestable surplus, which is split 50/50. That basic formula will likely not change and is not up for discussion. What ...

Re: Baker Lake Sockeye!

The meeting was very informative for me, glad I took the time to go. It would have been good to have more supporters there however there was a turnout of roughly 38+ people at rough count. Unfortunately, the individuals presenting the meeting had another meeting commitment in SW Washington later tha...

Re: WANTED Small Pontoon for floating Rivers

I have a Dave Scadden pontoon boat with 7' oars that I would be willing to part with. It was rated for class III water. Let me know if interested and I'll dig up the rest of the specs.

Re: Why is my brass tarnishing?

Absolutely, cured prawns @ Baker. Tried to keep that contact seperate but I have no doubt that could be the culprit, especially when they didn't completely clean up with the Brass-O.

Troutsnipr are you referring to the air/water reaction with the brass? The configuration of the marks definitely leads me to assume water had a huge role in this. I will try to look something up on this. Thanks for your input.

Thanks for the help rpm, local hardware store had some. It did get the discoloration off but I can't seem to get the outline of the spots to go away. I need to figure out how to keep this from happening.

Why is my brass tarnishing?

The brass on my 50/50 dodgers is tarnishing and quite badly only after a couple days of freshwater use. I usually try to air dry them before putting them away. Does freshwater really affect these this badly and how do I eliminate it? Maybe I need to wipe them down every time after use but usually an...
